The NVIDIA ConnectX-6 Dx provides several orders of magnitude higher performance than software based solutions with hardware acceleration for virtual switches (vSwitches) and virtual routers (vRouters). ConnectX-6 Dx supports the selection of Single Root I/O Virtualization (SRIOV) and VirtIO in hardware, enabling customers to best address their application needs. By offloading cloud network workloads, ConnectX-6 Dx frees up CPU cores while reducing overall cost of ownership. In an era where data privacy is critical, ConnectX-6 Dx offers built-in inline encryption/decryption, stateful packet filtering, and other features, bringing advanced performance and scalability to reduce security to every node.
Based on the solid foundation of NVIDIA's smart network card ConnectX series, ConnectX-6 Dx provides the best in class converged Ethernet RDMA (RoCE) solution with scalable, resilient, and easy to deploy RoCE functionality.
